Bellydancing is an ancient art known as Raqs Sharqi.
It is a beautiful dance with origins in India, the Middle East (in particular Egypt & Lebanon) and Turkey.

What to expect?
A relaxing yet upbeat class full of pops, locks, drops and shimmies. You will learn to isolate your body muscles. You will learn to stand, walk and move like a bellydancer.
Who are the classes suitable for?
Anyone interested in learning his beautiful art.

It is a moderately low impact class.
Can anyone join?
This class is for women of all ages, ethnicities, cultures, backgrounds, shapes and sizes.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing e.g. leggings and a top. You do not need to show your midriff if you do not want to. A hip scarf would be good to bring. You should either wear soft soled shoes or dance bare feet. If you do decide to dance bare I would recommend bringing some wipes to clean your feet at the end of class. Bring some water.
Is there parking?
There is plenty of free parking at Langley Leisure Centre. The Datchet venue is in a residential area which means you will be required to park a few minutes walk way from the studio. Datchet station is nearby.
